A series of paintings in which the use of colour, symbolism and evocative shapes and feelings express my thoughts about the Easter story. 'Eucharist 1' presents a stylised view of the last supper, which contains symbolic hints of that evening's events (the water bowl, the prominent cup, the bread, bitter herbs etc... and the metamorphosis of Judas as he melts into the night). The Mandala (oval) is the traditional shape for showing Jesus in glory. His disciples have a share in this. The importance of Christ's Body and Blood is shown in lettering superimposed over the buildings of Jerusalem.
