A series of paintings in which the use of colour, symbolism and evocative shapes and feelings express my thoughts about the Easter story. In 'Scourging', the powerful images of pain take us beyond the brutality of the historic event (John 19 v. 1-3, Matt. 27 v. 27-31) to encompass the agonies felt for all the suffering inflicted in our world.
